Karen Duhr 2007 Colt

Born 06/08/07. Chestnut snowcap colt.

Hi Virginia,

I just wanted to let you know my mare Warwoman Dell foaled a beautiful big
chestnut colt yesterday. He has a snowcap blanket to his withers with a lovely
little star, sock on one leg and lightning marks on the other three. I will
send pictures as soon as I get some new batteries for my camera!

2007 Fillly

Born 05/28/07. Solid dun filly. Even as a "first foal" for this mare, she weighed 113 lbs, stood almost 40" tall and measured 16" to the center of the knee. Cute baby-doll head and beautiful mover. This filly is FOR SALE.

I'm not sure what to call it?! Blue/grey with a strip from head to tail.
Black mane and tail. If I had to guess she will be at least 16-2. I love the ears! her face is so cute.

Virginia:
On Friday Afternoon, May 18,07 my mare had her foal. It is a colt; not a single white hair anywhere on its body, no striped hooves, no mottled skin. He certainly looks like something other than an Appaloosa. He is very tall and has been very steady on his feet, running, jumping & keeping the mare going. He will be a very good horse even though he isn't the leopard that I was hoping for.

Jan neeley Filly 2007

Born 05/16/07. Dun filly. Very sad to report that she died on 05/22/07.

Virginia,

Leah delivered a big beautiful dun filly with a big white blanket on Wed May 16th around 7 am. She developed a bacterial infection and despite all the vet could do for her she died on Tuesday. I buried her in the pasture near her grandmother. She was everything that I hoped for colorful, stylish and with a fantastic personality. Very curious and sweet. The special needs kids that come out here for lessons on Saturdays dubbed her Moonbeam because she had a crescent star on her forehead. I only had her for a few days, but I will miss her forever.

Sorry its taken so long, we've been too busy playing with her. She is everything we could have asked for. Hope you like the photos. Most are at 1 week of age. Halverson Colt 2007

Colt born 05/06/07. Very dark bay colt.

This boy was born out in the pasture between 12 midnight and 3am on Sunday May 6th. These photos are at less than 24 hours old. Will send better photos or will bring them down when we bring Wolfie down. Doing great. Putting on weight (can't see ribs now). Running and bucking with with rest of the mares. Likes to give me kisses and discovered itching feeeeeeels gooooood. Trys to return the favor. Should mature to be 16.3h. Everybody thinks he is so cute. One person threatened to put him in their trunk when they left.

We are very sorry to report that Kathy Irish's mare, Waps Blizzard, aborted a huge loud colored colt by Waps Rolls Royce on 02/05/07. She was due to foal on 02/24/07 and has been several days early in the past. Blizzard was not showing any of her normal signs of impending foaling.

The department of agriculture said the colt was alive when born. He weighted 107lbs and measured 44" from poll to dock. The placenta was almost twice the size as normal. Pathology results are pending. Blizzard is doing fine and will be rebred later this spring.
