Some newer pictures of Waps Fwip Fwap. She has a real grace and elegance about her. Everyone who sees her is first stricken by her color and build, and her attitude and personality completely wins them over. You couldn't ask for a nicer filly.

Congratulation to Liz Teahen on this gorgeous colt born in May 2006.
Sire: Amour (holsteiner) Dam: Wap Standing Ovation (Full Sister to Wap Spot)
Comment from Liz:
This beautiful colt is sired by the Holsteiner stallion, Amour, and out of a daughter of Waps Applause (App). This is the most athletic sport horse appaloosa I have ever seen! He's got the perfect conformation, gaits - and color is a bonus. This colt is of extraordinary type and quality. Temperament is extremely co-operative and brave. He is faultless in conformation and correctness. He is a buckskin with a perfect blanket and dorsal stripe.

Received this from Kathy Irish. She sold "Chloe", a 2006 weanling filly by Waps Applause, out of WA Glamour Dun Bars, to Tim and Misty Polasik in California. I'm sure this is just the beginning of all the fun they will have with this sweet filly. V. Hood
Hi Kathy,
We went to a schooling show today and Chloe did great. Placed 3rd in a open mares/fillies (was the only weanling) and most horses (10 in all) were seasoned show mares. She is looking nice ;). She is going very well-- quite CUTE and very adaptable. My hubby Tim is showing our yearling paint palomino (Chloe is the same height!!!) and she beat him ;-P. Hope all is well. Misty.

Photos of Larry making a fashion statement! Larry and Georgeanne have Waps Helen Wheels, by Wap's Spot 2. They also have a yearling filly by Waps Millennium out of Helen and a weanling filly by Wap Spot out of Romantic Dream.

This is a yearling picture of Waps Tough Cookie, by Waps Millennium, out of Waps Helen Wheels. Owned by Georgeanne Yoder. Cookie's right hind leg was broken soon after she was born. Major surgery at New Bolton repaired the break with a metal plate and pins. Prognosis was not good but she came through with flying colors.

Waps Serenade

Caitlin Andersin sent Season's Greetings from her 9 moth old filly "Dream", by Wap Spot, out of Fergie (TB). What a big pretty girl in her Christmas ribbon.

With Aida (his new mom) |
Checking out his new home |

Waps Jules is now at his new home in Belgium with his new "parents", Rik & Aida Van Den Berghe. Jules was a birthday present for Aida and arrived in time for the party. At just 10 1/2 months old, Jules left Biglerville, Pa. at 3pm, Thursday 04/10/03 and arrived in Belgium at 1:30pm, Saturday, 04/13/03.
The Van Den Berghes will be continuing our breeding program in Europe. Since Jules is a snow cap, and I believe has "sky eyes", he will be homozygous.
Jules is by "Wap Spot" and out of "Waps Malaika", a black and white daughter of "Waps Reflection". 4 times to the immortal "Wap's Spot 2". To all of our contact in Europe, Jules will be available for breeding in the future. Congratulations to Rik and Aida and we wish you all the success with this colt. Jerry and Virginia.

Remember - Waps Ballet Slippers, owned by Jean-Marie Devisch, Belgium?

First foal out of Waps Ballet Slippers by TT Might Junior. Filly born 03/24/03. Congratulations, she's wild!!

Choir Boy, owned by Deborah Goble
Sire: Wap's Reflection Dam: Waps Special Effects (full sister to Scandal)
Bred & raised by JG Appaloosa Sport Horses
Deborah's Comments:
Last year was my first year showing him, and we did the 2'6" division all year to give us an opportunity to get to know one another as I had only purchased him a couple of months prior to the beginning of the show season. Our divisions in the CHSA series (2'6 hunter & 2'6 equitation) were very competitive and could have as many as 25 competing. We finished 4th for the year in both divisions and we had many Championships and Reserve Championships throughout the year. Heathcliff is such a cool horse. He has tons of personality and is the barn clown. He gets into everything and loves attention. It doesn't matter if it's negative or positive, as long as he is getting attention. He will come galloping up from his pasture when I call him every single time. When I retired my last horse, I spent over a year looking for a new horse and it was worth the time spent searching. I have never regretted for a minute buying Heathcliff and hope to have him for a very long time. While he can have his "appy moments", for the most part he takes care of me and packs me around the ring. Oh year, Heathcliff's half brother, Grady, also shows on the CHSA circuit and he is going well also. The two of them have many similarities.

| Waps Blizzard | Willoughby |
Waps Blizzard owned by Suzanne Smith, is back to work after taking time off to be a 'mom'. 'Willoughby' (aka 'Yikes') is her 2002 colt by a warmblood stallion.
A quote from Suzanne: AT HIS GERMAN INSPECTION, FOR WHICH HE SCORED AN 8 IN CONFORMATION AND A 7.6 FOR MOVEMENT, THE JUDGE COMMENTED ON HIS DAM'S BREEDING AND HOW THE WAP SPOT LINE OF APPY'S ARE HEAD AND TAILS ABOVE THE REST OF THE AP'S IN THE UNITED STATES!!! HE LIKED BLISS AND SHE AND YIKES BEAT OUT ALL THE THOROUGHBRED MARES AND FOALS AT THE SHOW!!! HANDS DOWN!!! YIKES CAME IN 3RD OUT OF 17 ENTRIES!!!
I moved Bliss to an Eventing barn. She loves it!!! Not afraid of anything. What a good horse. I bought a digital camera. I'll send you some pics of her next week to stick in the photo gallery... some jumping, some dressage... she's the bomb!!! Everyone loves her. The pics are coming.

Wap Stole the Show
Last weekend I took Rio to a foundation clinic and he did excellent. I got to ride him for a short while on the last day. It was quite a thrill. He moved really nice and even the trainer noticed and commented how correct and straight he went and expressed a few times how impressed he was with his confirmation. He said a horse with his build would be capable of doing anything. So Rio is truly a sport horse and I got exactly what I bred for, except no spots. He was a star! I really feel I made a great choice crossing my mare to Applause.
